Choc nut bombs

Bliss balls (or bombs as I prefer to call these ones) are perfect bite sized rockets of energy to store in the fridge.

I make a few different ‘flavoured’ ones (have you tried my choc anything balls?) and am always experimenting with new variations.

I went through a phase of adding nut butter to everything. It’s full of healthy fats and so nourishing and filling for a busy mumma who often doesn’t have time to sit down and eat. So I thought, why not add to a ‘bliss’ ball base recipe and see how they turn out?

Well they are literally the ‘bomb’!!

Enjoy. They don’t last too long….

Instructions
  1. Add almonds, dates, nut butter and cacao butter to Thermomix bowl
  2. Blend for 30 seconds on Speed 8. You may need to stop the machine and scrape down the sides once or twice so it all gets combined.
  3. If the mixture is dry, add the coconut oil and blend for a further 15 seconds on Speed 8
  4. Roll into balls the size of walnuts. They may still be a little soft but will firm up when put in the fridge
  5. Roll in dessicated coconut or cacao powder
  6. Store in the fridge
Recipe Notes

If you use medjool dates, the mixture should be moist enough and not require the coconut oil. If you use dried dates, you will most probably need the coconut oil.

I've made these with a few different nut butter 'flavours'. Just use whatever you have on hand to give a slightly different bomb everytime.
